About this asset

This classic white plaster ornament collection for SketchUp features eighteen detailed floral and scroll appliques for interiors. This collection comprises eighteen distinct decorative plaster appliques, each featuring ornate, high-relief detailing. The forms include a variety of acanthus leaves, scrollwork flourishes, stylized rosettes, and floral motifs, including rose-inspired blossoms. These pieces are designed to serve as architectural accents, typically applied to walls, ceiling cornices, or furniture facades to enhance traditional or neoclassical interiors. The clean white finish suggests a standard gypsum plaster material, with geometry optimized to capture the depth and shadow of the complex, flowing organic curves characteristic of period-style architectural ornamentation.

The download is a 103 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 18 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are best handled as individual components. Users should import the file and explode the group to isolate specific ornaments, then use the move and rotate tools to position them onto target surfaces. Because these are high-relief details, they are effective for adding shadow play to render views. It is recommended to apply a clean, matte white material to the faces to ensure consistent lighting response across all elements in the scene.

These ornaments are essential for high-end residential, historic renovation, and luxury hospitality projects where traditional detailing is required. They are frequently used to embellish fireplace mantels, door headers, wall panels, or custom cabinetry in dining rooms, libraries, and grand foyers. Professionals searching for period-accurate architectural detailing or interior trim components will find these assets useful for adding authenticity to classic, neoclassical, or traditional design schemes. They pair well with detailed wainscoting, heavy crown moulding, and ornate ceiling roses to complete a cohesive, period-appropriate interior aesthetic.
