Asian-Inspired Decorative Light Columns Set

This set of six oriental-style decorative light columns for SketchUp features integrated warm-toned illumination and crisp, white finishes. This collection comprises six distinct floor-standing light columns, each showcasing a refined blend of modern geometric form and traditional Asian-inspired motifs. The structures are finished in a clean, matte white, likely plaster or painted metal, and incorporate translucent panels or linear slots that emit a warm, diffused yellow glow. The designs vary from minimalist vertical strips to more intricate patterns featuring lattice-work detailing reminiscent of paper screens. Each unit stands independently, serving as a sculptural lighting element that balances clean, contemporary lines with soft, ambient light distribution suitable for high-end interior environments.

The download is a 49.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 6 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these models function as individual components, allowing for easy placement and rotation to suit specific floor plans. Users should ensure the light-emitting faces are assigned appropriate emissive materials if using an external render engine. The geometry is clean, facilitating straightforward scaling for custom heights. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated layer within the model to manage visibility and lighting calculations efficiently during the development of interior visualisations and lighting studies.
