This modular railway asset kit provides 100 low-poly 3D components including locomotives, track segments, and station infrastructure. The Kenney Train Kit is a comprehensive collection of low-poly 3D models designed for rapid environment prototyping. It features a diverse range of modular elements, including various locomotive styles, freight and passenger rail cars, straight and curved track segments, railway switches, and platform station props. Each piece is constructed with simplified geometry, prioritising clean silhouettes and efficient poly counts suitable for real-time applications. The aesthetic is minimalist and consistent, allowing for seamless integration when building complex railway networks or urban transit scenes within a 3D environment or game engine.

Professionals can utilise this asset kit by importing the glTF, FBX, or OBJ files into their preferred 3D software or game engine. The modular design enables efficient scene assembly through snapping or manual placement of track segments and rolling stock. Users should manage the assets via a project-specific library, ensuring proper scaling and pivot point alignment for smooth track connections. These meshes are lightweight, making them ideal for populating large-scale urban transit layouts without significant performance overhead.

This kit is suitable for urban planning visualisations, transport infrastructure design, and game environment development. It is particularly useful during the concept stage to quickly map out rail logistics or station layouts. Architects and designers can use these assets to populate masterplan models, restaurant settings with model train themes, or educational displays. The set pairs well with other low-poly city building kits, allowing for the rapid creation of cohesive, stylised transit networks in both residential and industrial project contexts.
