About this asset

This collection of eight Indochine-inspired wallcovering textures for SketchUp features intricate botanical and wave motifs. This curated set includes eight distinct, high-resolution decorative patterns suitable for wall treatments or bespoke joinery finishes. The collection leans heavily into Indochine and oriental aesthetics, showcasing diverse themes such as stylized lotus flowers, exotic bird-of-paradise foliage, traditional Iznik-inspired floral borders, abstract blue-toned wave patterns, and layered, metallic-accented mineral textures. Each pattern is rendered with a depth that suggests rich paper or fabric substrates, utilizing a sophisticated palette of deep teals, navy blues, and crisp whites. These motifs are designed to provide a cohesive, high-end decorative layer for interior surfaces.

The download is a 147 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

Within SketchUp, these textures are accessed by importing the provided file and sampling the materials directly from the model space using the eyedropper tool. Users should apply these as materials to surfaces, ensuring the texture scale is adjusted within the material editor to match the intended wall height or panel dimensions. To achieve optimal results, ensure the UV mapping is set to projected if applying to curved geometry, and consider applying a slight bump map for added realism.

These textures are ideally suited for luxury residential projects, boutique hospitality interiors, and high-end retail showrooms. They function effectively as feature wall treatments, custom cabinet door veneers, or decorative acoustic panel finishes. Designers can use them to establish a strong, thematic atmosphere in dining rooms, hotel lobbies, or master suites.
