Cracked Ice Patterned Curved Glass Partition

This contemporary curved glass partition for SketchUp features an intricate cracked ice pattern, ideal for elegant interior zoning. This architectural partition system consists of multiple curved glass panels framed in a slim, metallic profile. The glass surface is defined by a complex, irregular cracked ice texture, which creates a dynamic play of light and shadow. The rhythmic, repeating pattern across the panels suggests a modular design, suitable for creating semi-transparent dividers in open-plan interiors. The structural metallic edging provides a clean, minimalist finish, anchoring the translucent panels while maintaining a lightweight aesthetic. The geometry is precisely modelled to show the curvature and the depth of the textured glass surface.

The download is a 440 KB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

In SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and scaling within your project file. Users should apply a glass material with appropriate refractive and reflective properties to the textured surfaces to achieve the desired transparency in renders. Ensure the metallic frame is set with a brushed or polished finish to complement the glass. The panels can be rotated or arrayed to form larger, continuous curved partitions or screens in lobby spaces or private office suites.

These curved partitions are well-suited for high-end residential, hospitality, or office interiors where light diffusion and visual privacy are required. They function effectively as room dividers in open-plan lofts, luxury hotel lobbies, or contemporary restaurant dining areas. Architects and interior designers might search for these when specifying sculptural room dividers, decorative glass screens, or modern interior partitioning solutions. They pair well with polished concrete flooring and minimalist furniture, providing a refined, textured focal point that enhances the spatial flow of an interior layout.
