About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides soft, overcast autumn park lighting for architectural 3D visualization. The environment map captures a wide, open park setting during an overcast autumn day. The ground is covered in a light dusting of fallen leaves scattered across a green lawn. In the background, a dense perimeter of trees displays a mix of late-season foliage, ranging from deep greens to golden browns and muted ochre tones. The lighting is diffuse and shadowless, characteristic of a flat, grey sky, which provides consistent, natural illumination for 3D scenes without harsh directional highlights or deep, distracting shadows, maintaining a neutral and balanced colour temperature throughout the panorama.

The download is a 6.4 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into the background or environment lighting slot of your rendering engine. Because the lighting is diffuse and soft, it works well as a primary light source for exterior scenes or as a background plate for mid-distance compositions. Adjust the exposure settings within your render software to balance the scene’s overall intensity, ensuring the background plate aligns with the floor plane and horizon line of your 3D model for a seamless, realistic integration.

This HDRI is suited for architectural projects requiring a natural, low-contrast exterior setting, particularly for residential landscape design or park-facing developments. It pairs effectively with autumn-themed exterior visualizations where a calm, overcast atmosphere is desired. Professionals searching for natural vegetation assets, park backgrounds, or soft, diffuse daylight setups for exterior renders will find this map useful for establishing a quick, believable environment without complex lighting configurations. It is ideal for final imagery where the focus remains on the building facade against a realistic, muted backdrop.
