About this asset

This 2K HDRI environment map provides realistic morning sunrise lighting for exterior 3D scenes, featuring a soft field horizon. Captured at sunrise, this environment map features a low-angle sun positioned over a vast, misty agricultural field. The sky is a gradient of cool blues transitioning into warm, golden hues near the horizon line. The atmosphere is soft and diffused, characteristic of early morning light in rural settings. The file includes a spherical projection that ensures consistent light distribution and realistic reflections across all materials in a scene. The lighting profile provides a balanced dynamic range, suitable for achieving natural, soft shadows and subtle global illumination in architectural exterior renders.

The download is an 8.7 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this HDRI into the environment or world lighting slot of your preferred renderer. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your model’s desired orientation. Because the lighting and reflections are captured from the same source, no additional light rigs are typically required for basic scene illumination. Ensure the gamma settings are configured correctly for your rendering engine to maintain the integrity of the high-dynamic-range data, allowing for precise exposure adjustments during the post-production stage.

Ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, this environment map pairs well with rural residential projects, landscape design, and garden master-planning. It is particularly effective for setting a serene, morning mood in site-specific renders where a natural, open-field backdrop is required. Professionals often search for this type of asset when needing realistic, soft-light conditions for early-stage conceptual work or final presentation imagery. The neutral, low-contrast nature of the lighting makes it a versatile choice for various architectural styles situated in open, natural environments.
