About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides a soft sunset lighting setup for 3D scenes, featuring a dry grassy field. This HDRI environment map features a panoramic capture of a rural landscape during a winter sunset. The scene is dominated by a dry, textured field in the foreground, transitioning to a distant treeline on the horizon. The lighting conditions are low-contrast and soft, with a clear, cool blue sky overhead that fades into a gentle, warm golden glow near the horizon line. The composition is wide and open, providing a neutral background that avoids harsh shadows, making it suitable for exterior architectural visualisations that require a calm, natural dusk atmosphere.

The download is a 6.4 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into the background or environment slot of your 3D rendering engine. Ensure the mapping is set to spherical or environment projection to maintain correct alignment. Because this is a high-dynamic-range file, it will automatically influence the scene's global illumination, reflections, and ambient light. Adjust the rotation parameter to align the golden horizon glow with the desired camera view for the most accurate lighting results in your render.

Ideal for exterior residential projects, this environment map is best suited for visualisations requiring a serene, late-afternoon, or early-evening mood. It pairs effectively with scenes featuring rural architecture, farmhouses, or landscaping designs that benefit from natural, soft-directional light. Professionals working on master-planning or landscape architecture will find this useful for site-context placement.
