Day Sky HDRI 003 a

Day Sky HDRI 003 A is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map featuring an overcast daytime sky over a rural path. This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map captures a soft, diffused daylight scene typical of an overcast afternoon in the countryside. The panoramic projection includes a natural rural landscape with green fields and a paved path, providing realistic environmental reflections and ambient illumination for 3D scenes. The lighting profile is balanced and neutral, avoiding harsh shadows while maintaining enough contrast to define forms effectively. It is designed to provide comprehensive 360-degree coverage, ensuring consistent light distribution and background integration for architectural visualisations that require a calm, natural outdoor setting without direct, intense sunlight.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this file directly into your rendering engine's environment or world lighting slot to serve as both the primary light source and the background reflection map. Because it is a high-dynamic-range image, it will automatically influence the global illumination and material reflections of your scene objects. For optimal results, align the map's rotation with your camera's perspective to ensure the horizon and path placement match your project's ground plane and camera orientation.

This environment map is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly those focusing on residential or rural landscape projects. It works effectively for scenes requiring a soft, natural daylight aesthetic, such as garden designs, suburban housing developments, or rural infrastructure studies. Professionals looking for a balanced, neutral outdoor backdrop for product renders or site-specific massing studies will find this asset useful. It pairs well with vegetation-heavy scenes where diffused lighting helps to maintain natural colour saturation and prevent overexposure in bright, sunny conditions.
