About this asset

Featuring a gentle segmental arch, this Revit window family provides a clean framed aperture for traditional and transitional facade modelling. Constructed with a continuous outer perimeter frame, this window unit features vertical jambs, a flat sill, and a shallow arched head profile. A single unobstructed glazed pane fills the frame, presenting an unadorned surface free of mullions, transoms, or glazing bars. The perimeter profile maintains a uniform depth and thin face reveal, creating a disciplined border between host wall assemblies and interior spaces. Clean geometric edges and minimal detailing give the aperture a versatile form suitable for classical, heritage, or modern architectural interpretations.

The download is a 154 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Designed for insertion into basic or composite host walls within Revit, the component cuts its own aperture automatically. Project teams can position the family across floor plans or facade elevations, adjusting sill heights to align with masonry coursing or structural floor levels. Frame and glass material parameters can be mapped to project standards to maintain visual consistency across shaded views, realistic visualisations, and exported schedules.

Ideal for residential elevations, heritage refurbishments, boutique hotels, and classical civic schemes, this arched window suits living spaces, stairwells, and prominent gable ends. Modelled as an arch top window or segmental head aperture, it pairs smoothly with brick facades, rendered masonry, and stone reveals. The unit supports architectural presentations from conceptual massing through to tender documentation where non-rectangular openings provide focal interest.
