Modern Timber Quad Fixed Ribbon Window

Designed for architectural wall assemblies, this modern four-lite fixed clerestory window Revit family features a slim timber frame and clear glazing. The assembly is formed as an elongated, horizontal ribbon window divided into four continuous rectangular lights by slender vertical mullions. A perimeter timber casing frames the unit with defined exterior reveals and an integrated sill projection. Each fixed pane contains smooth flat glazing held within clean, minimal rebate profiles. The warm wood-tone frame pairs neutral beige framing with transparent glass, establishing an unobtrusive profile intended for high-level clerestory daylighting, strip openings, or horizontal facade banding without operable sashes or protruding hardware.

The download is a 389 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Designed for standard wall-hosted insertion in Revit, this component embeds into compound exterior or interior wall constructions. The geometry cuts host openings cleanly, accommodating exterior cladding returns and internal lining finishes. Model parameters allow designers to assign project-specific glass and frame subcategory materials, align sill heights for continuous sightlines, and generate accurate schedule takeoffs for glazing quantities and rough opening dimensions across architectural working drawings.

Ideal for modern residential extensions, mid-century renovations, and contemporary commercial offices, this ribbon glazing unit functions effectively as high clerestory fenestration. It introduces balanced daylight above cabinetry in kitchens, maintains visual privacy in bathrooms, or illuminates long circulation corridors. Architectural teams searching for horizontal strip windows, timber clerestory glazing, fixed four-panel window families, or linear transom lights can seamlessly coordinate this asset with minimalist facades and exposed structural timber.
