Constructed from braced timber posts, this elevated hunting platform Revit family provides a freestanding observation deck on concrete pier footings. The structure comprises four vertical timber uprights anchored into cylindrical concrete foundation piers. On the primary side, horizontal rungs span the uprights to form an integrated access ladder leading to the upper deck. The adjacent flanks feature diagonal cross-bracing that stiffens the frame against lateral loads. A solid rectangular timber board caps the top, serving as the standing or seating platform. The timber elements display a uniform medium brown finish, complemented by grey masonry piers at grade, presenting a clean utilitarian profile with no enclosed shelter.
The download is a 358 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load this RFA component directly into your Revit project and place it onto a site plan, topo surface, or reference level. The family functions as a freestanding site element, allowing straightforward alignment with terrain contours or wooded clearings. Material definitions can be assigned through object styles or family properties to coordinate finish rendering, while visibility settings ensure legible presentation across plan, elevation, and section views.
Suited for rural estates, forestry stations, nature reserves, and wilderness cabin projects, this timber stand fits exterior site schemes requiring observation blinds, game stands, or small outdoor lookout towers. Architects and landscape planners can position the component along tree lines, field edges, or recreational trails. It pairs naturally with 3D forest vegetation, rustic perimeter fencing, and unpaved site pathways across conceptual master planning and landscape visualization sets.
