About this asset

This mobile exercise mat rack Revit family provides high-density hanging storage with tubular framing, swivel casters, and hanging gym mats. Fabricated with a modular tubular pipe framework, the unit features white horizontal rails and vertical uprights joined by distinct red elbow and tee fittings. Three discrete hanging bays span the upper assembly, each fitted with dual sets of arched wire hangers holding thick rectangular blue exercise mats. A rigid bottom runner configuration ties the upright posts together above six heavy-duty swivel caster wheels that enable easy repositioning across gymnasium floors. The dual-sided layout balances the weight distribution across both sides of the central rail, maximising mat storage capacity within a compact floor footprint.

The download is a 696 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Insert this specialty equipment family directly into project floor plans, orienting the clearances to allow smooth access along circulation paths. Subcategory parameters support visibility overrides for furniture or specialty fixtures in equipment schedules. Geometry behaves cleanly in orthographic sections and 3D perspectives, letting architects and MEP coordinators verify equipment envelopes, turning radiuses, and clear wall offsets within storage alcoves or group fitness layouts.

Designed for commercial fitness centres, yoga studios, secondary school gymnasiums, and university athletic facilities, this mobile cart organises workout accessories effectively. Specifiers planning health club fit-outs, wellness suites, or community sports halls frequently source hanging mat carts, mobile gym equipment caddies, and fitness accessory racks. The freestanding format easily parks against perimeter walls, pairs with barbell racks and dumbbell shelving, or rolls into equipment storage rooms during multi-purpose hall transitions.
