Industrial yellow steel freestanding jib crane Revit family featuring a vertical square mast, tie-rod supported I-beam boom, and electric trolley hoist. Constructed as a floor-mounted post jib crane, the assembly comprises a heavy square structural steel column welded to a rectangular base mounting plate. A horizontal steel I-beam cantilevers outward from an upper pivot bracket, reinforced by an inclined tubular steel tie rod that ties back to the mast extension. Suspended along the lower flange of the jib arm is a compact blue-finished trolley hoist housing equipped with a vertical drop chain and lifting hook. The primary structural components are rendered in high-visibility safety yellow industrial coating.
The download is a 215 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Designed for Revit specialty equipment workflows, load this RFA directly into your architectural or MEP project template. Place the family directly on finished structural floor slabs or concrete equipment pads. In plan, section, and 3D coordinating views, verify hook coverage, rotational clearance zones, and minimum head heights against ceiling trusses, ductwork, and overhead conveyor systems to eliminate spatial clashes prior to fabrication.
Suitable for industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, automotive service bays, loading docks, and heavy maintenance workshops. Specifiers and BIM coordinators integrate this component into spatial layouts during schematic fit-out and detailed coordination phases. This model supports documentation requirements when detailing workstation lifting envelopes, material handling corridors, assembly line clearance envelopes, and warehouse equipment schedules alongside workbenches, racking systems, and structural building elements.
