About this asset

This Precast Concrete Playground Slide is a Revit family featuring a raw, minimalist aesthetic suitable for durable site design. Designed with a robust, monolithic form, this precast concrete playground slide embodies a brutalist aesthetic. The unit features a smooth, continuous chute profile with integrated side rails for safety, transitioning from an elevated entry point to a grounded exit. The material finish mimics standard cast-in-place or precast concrete, showing a uniform grey tone with subtle textural variations typical of site-cast elements. Its proportions are fixed, focusing on a straightforward, heavy-duty construction that prioritises longevity and minimal maintenance in public or residential outdoor environments. The slide is presented as a singular, solid assembly.

The download is a 666 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is best utilised as a site component. Simply load the RFA file into your project template and place it within your site plan or 3D view. Because it is a static mass, it is ideal for rapid site massing and early-stage design visualisation. Users can apply custom material parameters to the concrete surface to adjust the render appearance in Enscape or V-Ray, ensuring it coordinates with other site hardscaping elements like paving or retaining walls.

This slide is primarily intended for landscape architecture projects, including public parks, school playgrounds, and residential developments. It integrates well into contemporary or brutalist-inspired outdoor spaces where durable, low-maintenance site furniture is required. Professionals searching for site equipment or recreational features for children's play areas will find this asset useful for site planning and master-planning. It pairs effectively with natural timber landscaping, gravel, or poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing, providing a clean, architectural solution for outdoor play zones.
