About this asset

This Revit family of the Kompan Scout playground unit features a raised tower structure with an integrated slide and ladder. The Kompan Scout unit is a compact playground structure designed for outdoor recreational use. It consists of a vertical tower frame with a high-sided slide extension and an integrated ladder for access. The construction uses durable plastic panels in vibrant red and cream tones, supported by a metal frame. The design includes blue horizontal bars for climbing and structural stability. Its proportions are scaled for children's play areas, providing a functional, multi-level activity station that combines vertical climbing with a descending slide element, suitable for various site layouts and park environments.

The download is a 737 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is intended for placement within site plans or exterior landscape models. Users should load the RFA file into the project environment and host it on a level or site topography. The model uses standard material parameters, allowing for customisation of the plastic and metal finishes to match project-specific colour palettes. Ensure the base is properly aligned with the ground plane to account for safety surfacing requirements in the surrounding site design.

This playground component is suitable for residential developments, public parks, and school landscaping projects. It serves as a key element in site planning for family-oriented spaces where recreational amenities are required. Professionals can use this asset during the schematic design and design development phases to illustrate site activity zones.
