About this asset

This contemporary Robert Abbey Shinto Tripod Floor Lamp Revit family features a sleek black metal frame and a crisp white drum shade. The Shinto Tripod Floor Lamp is defined by its clean, architectural silhouette and balanced proportions. It features a slender three-legged metal base finished in a matte black, which converges to support a classic cylindrical drum shade in white fabric. The design is understated and functional, providing a diffused, ambient light source suitable for a variety of interior settings. Its minimalist structure ensures it remains a subtle addition to a space, while the tripod geometry adds a touch of visual interest and stability to the fixture's overall profile.

The download is a 522 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

In Revit, this family is typically loaded as a Lighting Fixture category object. Users can place the lamp directly onto floor plans or interior views, benefiting from its pre-configured light source parameters for rendering purposes. It is recommended to check the light source definition and intensity settings in the Type Properties to ensure they match project-specific lighting requirements. The model is optimised for standard architectural workflows, allowing for easy integration into interior design documentation and high-quality visualisation files.

This floor lamp is an excellent choice for residential living rooms, hotel guest suites, and executive office lounges where a contemporary aesthetic is required. It pairs well with modern seating arrangements, such as lounge chairs or sectional sofas, acting as a task or accent light. Professionals often search for this type of fixture when specifying lighting for high-end residential projects or hospitality interiors that require a blend of functional illumination and refined, minimalist design language to complete a room's composition.
