Modern Brown Metal Rectangular Wall Sconce

This modern brown metal wall sconce is a Revit family featuring a clean rectangular profile with a glass diffuser insert. The luminaire presents a minimalist, rectangular form defined by a dark brown metal frame that encases a central glass panel. Its design is functional and understated, focusing on vertical geometry and clean lines. The housing appears to be a single-piece construction with a solid base section and a multi-paned light aperture, providing a balanced, symmetrical aesthetic. The proportions are suited for vertical mounting on exterior or interior wall surfaces, adding a subtle industrial touch to the architectural facade or corridor space while maintaining a low-profile depth.

The download is a 297 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

To integrate this Revit family into your project, load the RFA file into your lighting fixture category. Use the wall-hosted functionality to place the sconce directly onto vertical surfaces in plan or elevation views. Once placed, adjust the light source parameters and photometric definitions within the family editor to match your specific illumination requirements. Ensure the light source is correctly oriented to avoid clipping with the wall surface during rendering and documentation phases.

This fixture is well-suited for modern residential entryways, hospitality corridors, and office lobbies where a durable, minimalist lighting solution is required. It pairs effectively with brick, concrete, or metal cladding systems, making it a versatile choice for both interior and exterior applications. Architects and designers searching for wall-mounted luminaires often specify this type of lighting for its clean, unobtrusive presence in contemporary circulation areas and facade lighting schemes. It provides a reliable, standard component for detailed BIM documentation and high-quality architectural visualisation.
