About this asset

Constructed from pale timber, this octagonal picnic table Revit family provides an all-in-one outdoor dining unit with integrated perimeter seating. The design comprises an eight-sided central tabletop assembled from segmented timber planks, supported by a heavy-duty interlocking timber frame. Surrounding the full perimeter, eight connected bench segments provide continuous communal seating elevated by angled leg posts and sturdy diagonal bracing. Exposed joinery and crossbeams tie the upper table surface directly to the perimeter bench supports, forming a rigid, unified freestanding structure. Rendered in an unfinished light wood tone, the geometric layout maximizes seating capacity while allowing easy step-in access between bench bays.

The download is a 2 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this RFA family into standard landscape or site plans to populate communal outdoor spaces. Place the unit directly onto finished topography, concrete plazas, or timber decking, aligning orientation relative to walking routes and shading trees. Materials can be adjusted within Revit type or instance parameters to match weathered cedar, stained pine, or treated exterior hardwood specifications for presentation views.

Suited for public parks, school courtyards, university campuses, outdoor restaurant patios, and recreational campgrounds. It integrates naturally alongside trash receptacles, bike racks, and fabric shade canopies in landscape master plans. Architects and landscape designers searching for octagonal picnic tables, communal park seating, outdoor dining benches, or timber site furniture can readily schedule this piece within external amenity zones across commercial and civic schemes.
