About this asset

Modelled for Revit, this modern timber computer desk family features an inset glass desktop framed by solid wood posts and an integrated shelf. The desk features a clean rectilinear profile assembled from square timber framing members. Its primary work surface consists of a clear glass panel set flush within the perimeter wood frame, allowing direct visibility to the lower tier. Directly below sits a full-width horizontal wood shelf, suitable as a keyboard tray, document stash, or display area. The supporting underframe comprises four vertical corner legs reinforced with lower side rails and a low back stretcher, providing rigidity while leaving ample open space for ergonomic seating and leg clearance beneath the intermediate shelf.

The download is a 307 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load this RFA component directly into your Revit project environment to outfit workspace floor plans or interior elevations. The family places on any level or reference plane, allowing easy alignment against perimeter walls or in open plan layouts. Designers can configure material parameter assignments to adjust the timber stain or glass transparency to match bespoke FF&E schedules, ensuring coordinated 2D drawing documentation and realistic 3D views.

Suited for residential home offices, university student housing, boutique private practices, and creative studio layouts. This compact desk functions effectively as a computer workstation, drafting table, or secondary administrative writing desk. It pairs seamlessly with ergonomic task chairs, articulated desk lamps, and mobile pedestal drawer units in contemporary or minimalist interior schemes.
