About this asset

Mid-century modern armless lounge chair provided as a Revit family, featuring tufted black upholstery set across an iconic curved chrome scissor frame. The chair comprises a low-profile, reclining seat and angled backrest constructed with thick rectangular cushions. Button tufting defines both upholstered panels, finished in deep black with subtle surface graining. Supporting the seating blocks is an open sculptural metal base, formed by intersecting polished chrome flat bars that sweep down into curved front and rear legs. Supporting straps are visible along the lower perimeter of the seat frame, maintaining classic proportions while capturing the distinct architectural silhouette of twentieth-century modernism.

The download is a 225 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Supplied as an RFA component, the family inserts directly into floor plans or 3D views as floor-hosted furniture. Users can duplicate type parameters to assign custom material assets to the upholstery and metal framework, ensuring consistent graphic standards across floor finish plans and Enscape or V-Ray renderings. The streamlined geometry ensures lightweight file operation without compromising visual fidelity in internal elevations and schedules.

This seating element suits corporate lobbies, executive boardrooms, boutique hotel suites, and modern residential living areas. It pairs naturally with low glass coffee tables, architectural area rugs, and minimalist modular casework. Designers specifying iconic reception seating, designer armless chairs, or modernist accent furniture can position pairs around central low tables to create balanced seating arrangements in early schematic presentations and full contract documentation.
