About this asset

Minimalist in execution, this grey study carrel Revit family provides an enclosed focus desk configuration with integrated side and rear privacy panels. Designed with clean rectilinear geometry, the assembly features tall lateral partition screens, a continuous full-height back panel, and a fixed horizontal desk shelf set at standard working height. The three-sided enclosure shields users visually from surrounding circulation paths while maintaining an open front profile for easy chair access. Uniform grey panel faces define the minimalist perimeter, offering neutral planar boundaries suitable for institutional or corporate workstations. Its compact footprint supports efficient spatial modularity when ganged side by side or arrayed along library perimeter walls.

The download is a 297 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Load the native RFA component directly into your Revit project and position it on any active floor level. Because the unit is modelled with clean solid geometry, it populates open floor plans efficiently without bloating overall model size. Assign project-specific materials or shading overrides through the family type parameters to coordinate finishes with surrounding interior millwork schedules and FF&E documentation sets.

Well suited for higher education learning commons, school libraries, call centres, and corporate open-plan office layouts requiring quiet study zones or individual testing spaces. The unit arranges cleanly in linear runs, back-to-back clusters, or reading rooms alongside task chairs and mobile pedestals. Architects and interior designers can specify this privacy booth or testing carrel during space-planning and technical interior documentation stages.
