Mid-Century Tan Wood TV Unit with Curved Edges

Mid-century modern TV unit modelled as a compact Revit family, featuring a curved outer shell, dual glass shelving, and a central utility drawer. Defined by a continuous curved outer chassis, this media credenza exhibits a smooth, warm tan finish over engineered timber surfaces. The symmetrical layout is arranged into three distinct vertical zones. Outer bays feature inset horizontal glass shelves providing lightweight partitioned storage for electronics and display objects. At the centre, an open AV equipment cubby sits directly above a single pull-out drawer with a minimal round metal knob. The entire low-profile case rests upon broad, flat timber sled legs positioned beneath the side partitions to ensure stability and clearance.

The download is a 276 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

Engineered as a lightweight Revit family, this component drops directly into floor plan views with clean 2D symbolic linework and accurate 3D geometry. Specifiers can host the fixture to finished floor levels, map custom procedural materials to the timber carcass and glass elements, or assign category subcategories to control screen graphic visibility across rendered perspectives and interior elevations.

Suited for residential living rooms, modern apartment interiors, lounge spaces, and boutique hotel guestrooms, this credenza anchors entertainment layouts seamlessly. Designers frequently coordinate this piece alongside modular sectionals, wool area rugs, and wall-mounted sconces. Search queries for media console, mid-century TV credenza, freestanding entertainment centre, and living room storage joinery regularly specify this clean, rounded silhouette during schematic design and interior fit-out documentation.
