About this asset

This Revit family of a Canon iR C2620 multifunction printer provides a clean, professional representation of office hardware. The Canon iR C2620 is a floor-standing, high-capacity multifunction printer designed for professional office environments. The model features a comprehensive paper handling system with four lower paper trays, an integrated scanner unit at the top, and side-mounted output trays. Its form factor is utilitarian and robust, typical of mid-2000s commercial print equipment, with a clean grey and white plastic exterior. The geometry is simplified for efficient BIM performance while maintaining enough detail to be clearly identifiable in floor plans, sections, and 3D interior views for space planning and facility management.

The download is a 625 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

As a native Revit family, this asset is designed to be loaded into project templates for office layout planning. Users can place the unit directly onto floor plans, where it will occupy a fixed footprint. Because it is a generic model family, it is best suited for visualising space requirements and printer station ergonomics. It can be easily moved or rotated to suit desk layouts and does not require complex MEP connections to function within the Revit environment.

This printer model is essential for architects and interior designers working on commercial office fit-outs, corporate headquarters, or administrative buildings. It serves as a necessary placeholder in floor plans to ensure adequate circulation around print rooms or copy stations. When coordinating interior design layouts, professionals can use this asset to define the spatial footprint of equipment, ensuring that printer stations are properly located near power outlets and data ports, facilitating efficient workflow in busy professional settings and shared workspace environments.
