This Revit family provides a face-hosted wireless access point designed for clean, recessed integration into ceiling systems. The device features a compact, minimalist square profile intended for flush-mounting within standard ceiling grids or plasterboard surfaces. Its form factor is intentionally subtle, consisting of a low-profile housing that minimizes visual disruption in finished interior spaces. The geometry is clean and simple, focusing on the functional requirement of housing network hardware while maintaining a neutral aesthetic. The component is designed to sit level with the mounting surface, ensuring a professional, integrated appearance that is suitable for high-end corporate or residential environments where infrastructure should remain discreet.
The download is a 379 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
This face-hosted Revit family is designed for insertion directly onto ceiling planes. Users can easily snap the component to the desired ceiling surface, where it will automatically orient and remain hosted. The family includes necessary electrical connection points for MEP scheduling and circuiting. It is advisable to maintain the native host-based behaviour to ensure the device moves or adjusts correctly if the ceiling elevation is modified during the design development or construction documentation phases.
