Classic glazed entrance sidelite Revit family featuring a four-lite upper glass section, moulded lower panel, and an integrated sill detail. This sidelite unit is proportioned for entry configurations, featuring a narrow vertical profile divided into two main zones. The upper section contains four vertically stacked glass lites separated by clean horizontal muntin bars, allowing daylight into vestibules and foyers. Below the glazing, a single raised rectangular panel adds traditional depth and shadow lines. The component is bordered by profiled exterior casing and jamb trims, terminating at a contrasting threshold sill at the base. Crisp boundary reveals define the interface between the frame, sash, glass panes, and surrounding host wall geometry.
The download is a 2 MB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.
Load this RFA family directly into an architectural Revit project to insert adjacent to primary entrance doors or within exterior partition assemblies. As a wall-hosted element, it cuts the host wall automatically. Users can align and lock the frame to adjacent door openings, adjust family type parameters for frame dimensions or materials, and assign subcategory visibility overrides to control 2D linework in elevations and schedules.
Suited to single-family residential projects, townhouses, and boutique hospitality entries, this sidelight assembly complements traditional and transitional architectural elevations. Architects can flank main entry doors symmetrically or position a single unit to illuminate interior circulation corridors, foyers, and entry halls. It fits cleanly into door schedules, permit drawings, and exterior facade views where accurate frame profiles and glazed proportions are required for client presentations and design development packages.
