About this asset

This Revit family features a pair of small green plastic wheeled dumpsters designed for modern residential or urban site planning. These small dumpsters feature a clean, minimalist design with a tapered rectangular form. Each unit is constructed from moulded plastic, finished in a vibrant green, and includes a hinged lid for waste containment. The base is supported by small, unobtrusive casters, allowing for easy mobility and positioning within exterior service areas. The geometry is straightforward, prioritising functional efficiency and a tidy appearance in outdoor settings. The set includes two identical units, providing a consistent look for waste management zones in high-density housing or commercial developments where space is at a premium and cleanliness is essential.

The download is a 399 KB file containing a Revit family (.rfa). Load it into a project from the Insert tab with Load Family, then place it like any other component of its category; it schedules and tags with the rest of your model.

To integrate these into a project, load the RFA file into your site plan or exterior model. Since these are standard components, they can be easily placed on hardscaping or service pads. Ensure the floor level is set correctly to align the casters with the ground plane. Users can utilise visibility settings to toggle the visibility of the units in different plan views, ensuring they do not clutter construction documentation while remaining visible for site rendering and presentation purposes.

These dumpsters are essential for realistic site modelling in residential projects, multi-family housing, and small commercial developments. They are typically placed in designated waste storage areas, service alleys, or screened exterior zones. Professionals can use these models to demonstrate site circulation, waste management logistics, and overall site cleanliness during the planning and design development stages. They pair effectively with other site elements like paving, screening fences, and landscaping to create a complete and functional exterior environment for project visualisations.
