Potted Tropical Plant Set with Concrete Planters

This SketchUp model features a set of three indoor tropical plants housed in textured grey concrete planters for interior design. This set includes three distinct potted plants, each featuring varied tropical foliage and textures. The plants are contained within cylindrical concrete planters with a weathered, dark grey finish. The largest piece features a tall, feathery palm-like specimen, while the companion pieces include a cascading plant with variegated leaves and a dense, rounded shrub. The combination of organic plant forms against the heavy, industrial-style concrete pots provides a balanced contrast suitable for modern interiors. Each element is scaled to function as a cohesive decorative grouping, providing realistic greenery for architectural visualisation.

The download is a 122 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these plants are organised as individual components or groups, allowing for easy placement and scaling within a scene. Users should manage these assets using layers or tags to maintain viewport performance, especially when populating large areas. Materials are applied to the foliage and planters, which can be further refined using standard render engine plugins to adjust transparency for leaves or bump maps for the concrete texture. Ensure the axes are correctly oriented for efficient snapping to floor surfaces.
