About this asset

This SketchUp model set features a spherical topiary and a delicate decorative tree, each housed in a textured cylindrical planter. This set includes two distinct indoor plants designed for architectural visualisation. The first is a dense, spherical topiary with a thin, straight trunk. The second is a slender, branching tree with fine, sparse foliage, evoking a naturalistic, airy aesthetic. Both specimens are presented in matching cylindrical planters featuring a vertically ribbed, white-textured exterior. The proportions are balanced for interior placement, offering clear contrast between the geometric shape of the topiary and the organic, irregular form of the tree. These assets are detailed with realistic leaf structures and trunk textures.

The download is a 133 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are best utilised as components. Users can easily scale the plants to suit specific interior room heights or adjust the placement within a scene using the move tool. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient rendering when combined with high-quality textures. Ensure the plants are placed on a designated layer to manage scene complexity, and consider using a proxy if the poly count impacts viewport performance during larger project modelling.

Ideal for residential living rooms, modern office lobbies, or boutique hotel reception areas, these plants serve as effective focal points or corner fillers. They pair well with minimalist furniture and neutral interior palettes, adding necessary organic texture to digital environments. Professionals can use these assets to bring life to architectural renderings during the design development or presentation stages. Their versatile style makes them suitable for various contemporary project types, from high-end retail showrooms to residential apartment staging.
