About this asset

This SketchUp model features a potted Monstera Deliciosa with a central moss pole, providing a realistic botanical element for interiors. The specimen is a tall, mature Monstera Deliciosa characterized by its iconic fenestrated, heart-shaped leaves that spiral upward around a central cylindrical moss pole. The foliage exhibits varying shades of deep and vibrant green, reflecting natural colour gradients. The plant is housed in a simple, cylindrical, light-grey or white pot with a subtle textured finish. The proportions are balanced, designed to mimic the growth pattern of a vining plant trained vertically. Every leaf is individually modeled to provide depth, making it suitable for close-up architectural visualisations and interior design renderings.

The download is a 17.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this plant into your SketchUp project, import the component directly into your model space. Because this file is structured as a component, you can easily scale it to fit specific spatial requirements or adjust the orientation to suit your lighting setup. Ensure that you maintain the geometry on a dedicated layer for easy toggling during the rendering process. If using external render engines, consider reapplying textures to the leaves to enhance the translucency and depth of the foliage.
