About this asset

This SketchUp plant set features five diverse potted indoor species, ranging from tall broad-leafed varieties to small ferns. This collection includes five distinct indoor plants housed in varied containers. The set features a large bird of paradise, a fiddle-leaf fig in a raised stand, a slender palm with orange-tinted stems, a delicate fern on a wire frame, and a smaller plant in a rustic bucket-style pot. Each specimen is rendered with detailed foliage and realistic textures. The containers vary from minimalist ceramic bowls and sleek black cylinders to elevated metal stands, providing a versatile selection for styling interior spaces. The ensemble offers a balanced mix of heights, leaf shapes, and pot styles.

The download is a 93.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these plants into a SketchUp scene, import the model and use the scale tool to adjust size relative to your project's anthropometrics. Ensure they are assigned to a dedicated vegetation layer for easy toggling during heavy modelling. If using a render plugin, verify that the texture maps for the leaves and pots are correctly linked and adjust the opacity settings on leaf textures to enhance realism when using indirect lighting or soft shadows.

These plants are ideal for adding life to residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office break-out spaces. They pair well with modern furniture, serving as natural accents in corners, on sideboards, or flanking media consoles. Professionals can use these assets to populate architectural visualisations where a lived-in, organic quality is required. They are particularly effective for staging interior design concepts that focus on biophilic elements, helping to soften hard architectural lines and create a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere in any room type.
