About this asset

This SketchUp model set features three distinct indoor plants, each housed in a textured grey concrete cylindrical planter. The collection comprises three indoor plant varieties: a large-leafed Strelitzia, a tall, slender columnar cactus, and a Ficus-style plant with a textured trunk. Each specimen is contained within a minimalist cylindrical pot finished in a neutral, light-grey concrete texture. The foliage varies in scale and density, providing a range of vertical interest. The proportions are balanced for interior use, ensuring the plants appear realistic in scale when placed in residential or commercial settings. The base of each pot contains a detailed soil texture, completing the look for close-up architectural visualisations.

The download is a 56.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Ensure the geometry is scaled correctly relative to your project dimensions upon insertion. The materials are mapped to standard SketchUp textures, which can be easily adjusted or replaced if using a third-party render engine. To optimise model performance in larger scenes, consider using layers to toggle the visibility of the high-detail foliage while working on the primary architectural layout.

These plants are suitable for populating interior renders, including living rooms, office lobbies, and hotel receptions. They work well as focal points in corners or as secondary decor elements next to seating areas. Professionals can use these assets to add organic life to minimalist or contemporary architectural spaces. Search for these by terms like indoor greenery, potted house plants, or architectural foliage to find them in your library when staging residential, commercial, or hospitality projects during the design development phase.
