About this asset

This set of four potted indoor plants for SketchUp features varied foliage textures housed in contemporary stone and marble planters. This collection comprises four distinct indoor plant varieties, each paired with a unique decorative container. The selection includes broad-leaf tropical types and delicate, multi-stemmed species, providing a balanced mix of foliage shapes and densities. Planters vary in finish, ranging from smooth grey concrete-style vessels to white marble-effect cylinders and a dark, faceted geometric pot. Each model is detailed with realistic leaf patterns and stem structures, sitting within appropriately scaled pots that feature subtle material texture mapping to ensure a high-quality appearance in architectural visualisations.

The download is a 32.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These assets are delivered as a SketchUp model, allowing for easy integration into your project via the components library. To maintain performance, place these as proxies or instances within your model. The materials are pre-applied, but you can adjust the leaf transparency or pot finishes directly within the SketchUp material editor to suit your specific lighting environment. Ensure these are placed on a dedicated 'Vegetation' layer to manage file complexity during the design development phase.

Ideal for styling residential living areas, modern office break-out spaces, or hotel lobby interiors, these plants add essential life and scale to architectural scenes. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture, serving as effective focal points or background details. Professionals can use these for interior design presentations, staging, or final render compositions where natural elements are required to soften hard surfaces. Their versatile aesthetic ensures compatibility with a wide range of interior styles, from high-end residential to boutique commercial environments.
