About this asset

This collection of twelve potted indoor plants is provided as a SketchUp model, featuring various species in diverse containers. This set contains twelve distinct indoor plants, ranging from flowering orchids and bromeliads to lush leafy shrubs and slender palms. Each plant is housed in a specific container, including minimalist white square planters, sleek black pots, and textured bowls. The foliage exhibits varied textures and shades of green, with some specimens showing vibrant pink or yellow blooms. The models are designed with balanced proportions, suitable for close-up interior rendering. The collection offers a versatile mix of sizes and shapes, providing necessary greenery to populate varied architectural spaces and interior design schemes.

The download is a 303 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 12 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Users should ensure the plant geometry is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain scene performance. Materials for leaves and pots are standard, allowing for easy adjustment of transparency or reflection settings to suit specific render engines. Due to the high-detail nature of the foliage, it is recommended to use proxies or instances if populating large areas to preserve viewport responsiveness and manage file size effectively during the project workflow.

These plants are essential for adding life and visual interest to residential, hospitality, and office interior projects. They are ideal for styling living rooms, reception areas, meeting rooms, and hotel lobbies where natural elements are required to soften hard architectural lines. Architects and designers can use these models to populate shelves, tabletops, and floor corners in early design development or final presentation renderings. They pair well with modern furniture, providing a natural contrast to sleek surfaces and clean, contemporary material palettes.
