Potted Green Shrub in Sculptural Stone Planter

This contemporary potted shrub for SketchUp features a dense canopy of green foliage housed in a textured, sculptural stone planter. The asset depicts a compact, bushy shrub with vibrant green leaves, exhibiting a natural, layered growth pattern with visible branching. It is set within a cylindrical inner pot that sits inside a larger, bespoke stone-effect planter. The outer planter is distinguished by its irregular, faceted, and organic surface, which mimics carved or cast stone with subtle veining and grey tones. The proportions are balanced for interior display, providing a sculptural presence that combines organic botanical elements with a heavy, monolithic base material, suitable for a variety of modern architectural aesthetics.

The download is a 32.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp scene, use the component's internal axes to place the plant accurately on floor surfaces or furniture tops. Adjust the scale to suit the specific project context, ensuring the material mapping on the stone planter remains consistent. Because the model includes high-density foliage, consider placing it on a separate layer or tag to manage viewport performance effectively during the modelling phase, and use proxy objects if rendering with high-poly external engines.

This potted shrub is ideal for adding life to residential living spaces, hotel lobbies, and contemporary office reception areas. It pairs well with minimalist furniture or industrial-style interiors where a touch of organic texture is required to soften hard surfaces. Professionals often search for this type of botanical asset when detailing architectural visualisations, seeking realistic foliage that enhances the scale and atmosphere of interior renders. It is particularly effective when placed on side tables, consoles, or as a standalone floor feature in corner spaces.
