Potted Croton Houseplant with Two Stems

This SketchUp model features a potted Croton houseplant with distinct variegated foliage and two slender, textured stems. The model represents a Croton plant housed in a simple, smooth black spherical pot. Two upright stems rise from the container, each topped with a cluster of lance-shaped leaves. The foliage displays a characteristic colouration, featuring deep green centres with vibrant red and yellow-green margins. The stems possess a realistic, segmented texture, providing a natural appearance suitable for close-up architectural visualisations. The overall form is vertical and compact, making it an effective choice for adding organic detail to interior spaces without occupying a significant footprint in the scene layout.

The download is a 1.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this plant is best managed as a component to maintain file efficiency. Users can place the model directly into interior scenes and scale it to suit specific project requirements. Because the foliage is mapped with distinct textures, ensure that material paths are correctly linked upon insertion. For high-quality renders, consider adjusting the transparency settings on the leaf textures or applying a custom material override to control the light transmission through the foliage layers during the final render pass.

This asset is well-suited for adding life to residential living rooms, modern office reception areas, or hotel lobbies where a touch of greenery is required. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture or contemporary interior palettes, acting as a focal point in corners or alongside seating groups. Designers searching for ornamental indoor plants or decorative vegetation for staging will find this model useful for enhancing the realism of interior renders, particularly in projects focusing on lifestyle, wellness-oriented design, or biophilic commercial environments.
