Potted Columnar Cactus in Terrazzo Planter

This modern potted columnar cactus SketchUp model features a textured terrazzo planter supported by a minimalist timber stand. This decorative houseplant asset consists of a vertical, multi-stemmed columnar cactus with distinct ribbed textures and subtle spines. The plant is housed in a tapered, grey-toned terrazzo planter with a speckled aggregate finish. The vessel rests within a simple, four-legged wooden cross-stand that elevates the plant slightly off the ground. The proportions are balanced, making it ideal for interior styling where a touch of greenery is needed. The geometry captures the natural organic form of the succulent while maintaining clean, architectural lines in the supporting base and container.

The download is a 17.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To use this SketchUp model, import the component into your project file via the component browser or by merging the file directly. Ensure the geometry is placed on a dedicated vegetation or decor layer to maintain scene organisation. The textures are mapped for standard render engine compatibility, allowing for adjustments to the terrazzo gloss or bump maps if necessary. Scaling the component should be done uniformly to preserve the realistic proportions of the cactus and the stand relative to standard furniture heights.

This potted cactus is well-suited for adding life to minimalist and contemporary interiors, particularly in residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout spaces. It pairs effectively with mid-century or Scandinavian furniture, serving as a focal point on sideboards, floor corners, or console tables. Architects and interior designers will find this asset useful for staging architectural visualisations where a low-maintenance, sculptural greenery element is required to soften hard surfaces or fill empty corners in a rendered floor plan or perspective view.
