About this asset

This decorative Bonsai Tree set for SketchUp features two potted ornamental trees displayed on tall, rustic wooden pedestals. This set includes two distinct bonsai trees, each presented in a low-profile, grey stone-textured planter. The trees exhibit intricate, gnarled branch structures with dense, fine-textured foliage in varying shades of green. Each plant rests upon a square, vertical wooden pedestal featuring a subtle vertical engraving detail along the front face. The wood displays a natural, rustic grain pattern, providing a strong visual contrast to the organic form of the trees. The composition is balanced and sculptural, intended to serve as a focal point within a refined interior environment.

The download is a 45.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

The model is structured for efficient integration into SketchUp projects. Users should import the file as a component to maintain object grouping, which allows for easy scaling or placement within a scene. Ensure the model is placed on a flat surface, such as a floor or a low cabinet, and consider using layers to toggle the visibility of the trees independently of the pedestals. The textures are mapped to respond well to standard SketchUp materials and common third-party rendering plugins.

These bonsai trees are ideal for high-end residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, or minimalist office reception areas where a touch of nature and traditional aesthetic is required. They pair well with contemporary or Japandi-style furniture, particularly when placed against clean, textured walls or near feature windows. Professionals searching for 'oriental interior decor', 'potted ornamental plants', or 'sculptural indoor greenery' will find these assets useful for adding life and scale to interior visualisations, particularly in the later stages of design development.
