Potted Alocasia Plant in Woven Basket

This contemporary potted Alocasia plant in a woven basket is a SketchUp model featuring detailed foliage and natural textures. This indoor plant model features an Alocasia variety with distinctively pointed, deep green leaves showcasing natural veining patterns. The plant is housed in a cylindrical woven basket with a fine, textured brown finish, offering a soft, organic aesthetic. The proportions are balanced, making it suitable for tabletops, shelving units, or corner floor placement. The foliage is arranged in a natural, slightly asymmetrical spread, providing a realistic silhouette that avoids overly uniform geometry. The combination of the dark, vibrant green leaves against the earthy, woven container creates a versatile look for various interior styles.

The download is a 2.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp project, use the component-based structure to adjust the plant's scale or rotation to suit your specific scene requirements. Since the geometry is relatively lightweight, it can be easily duplicated to populate larger spaces without significant performance impact. Ensure that the texture maps for the woven basket are properly aligned if you decide to modify the material scale. For rendering, apply appropriate translucency settings to the leaf materials to capture realistic light diffusion through the foliage.
