Mixed Tropical Vegetation and Cactus Garden Scene

A comprehensive 3ds Max garden scene featuring a curated mix of tropical palms, cacti, and succulents arranged with decorative stone paths. This collection presents a diverse arrangement of botanical assets, including tall palm species, bushy shrubs, and various desert-style cacti. The composition is anchored by a central classical-style bust on a plinth, surrounded by a gravel ground plane and dark rectangular stepping stones. The plant selection varies in texture and scale, from fine-leafed palms to thick, waxy succulents and round barrel cacti. Each element is modelled to provide a realistic, layered look suitable for architectural visualisation of courtyards, interior atriums, or outdoor garden spaces, offering a balanced mix of lush greenery and arid landscape features.

The download is a 200 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with V-Ray materials. Open it in 3ds Max with V-Ray installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can merge this scene directly into their 3ds Max project to populate garden beds or atrium spaces. The assets are typically organised by layers, allowing for easy selection and individual placement of specific plant groups if a smaller composition is required. Materials are pre-applied, though adjustments to leaf translucency and specular highlights may be necessary depending on the chosen render engine. For large-scale site plans, these models can be instanced to reduce viewport load while maintaining visual density in final beauty shots.
