Japanese Zen Garden Moss and Stone Scene

This Japanese-style indoor Zen garden scene for 3ds Max features detailed moss, stone, and foliage elements in a serene composition. This curated indoor garden scene presents a minimalist Japanese aesthetic, incorporating textured moss mounds, polished stone spheres, and jagged natural rock formations. A central multi-stemmed deciduous tree provides verticality, balanced by smaller fern-like plants and weathered driftwood accents. The base is composed of a gravel bed contained within a dark, low-profile frame. The arrangement focuses on organic textures and soft, natural green hues, contrasting against the grey stone elements. The composition is designed for architectural visualization, emphasizing balanced proportions and the interplay between natural forms and structured, contemporary interior environments.

The download is a 42.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max, this scene is structured for immediate integration into architectural interior projects. Users should import the model into their master file, ensuring unit consistency for correct scale. The vegetation and moss assets utilize high-resolution textures suitable for close-up renders. Lighting should be adjusted to match the scene's ambient, soft-light aesthetic, ideally using an HDRI or internal light sources that mimic the diffused sunlight visible in the preview to highlight the subsurface scattering and texture depth of the moss.
