About this asset

This SketchUp indoor plant set comprises four distinct species, featuring realistic foliage and varied containers for interiors. This collection features four varied indoor plants, each presented in a distinct aesthetic style. The set includes a tall, leafy tree in a textured rattan basket, a smaller tree housed in a minimalist concrete pot, a slender vertical cactus, and a lush Monstera deliciosa supported by a moss pole. The foliage density and leaf structure are modelled to provide visual depth for interior renders. Each plant is scaled appropriately for residential or commercial use, with the vessels providing a neutral base that complements diverse interior design schemes, from contemporary to more organic, naturalistic environments.

The download is a 46.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating these assets into SketchUp, utilise the component hierarchy to manage poly counts effectively across large scenes. Use the native move and rotate tools to adjust the orientation of the leaves for natural variation. For rendering, ensure that texture maps for the foliage are correctly aligned and that the transparency settings are verified for the leaf edges. If using a render engine, consider applying bump or normal maps to the pots to enhance the realism of the rattan and concrete surfaces.

These plants are ideal for populating residential living areas, hotel lobbies, and office breakout spaces where biophilic elements are required. They pair effectively with modern furniture, providing a soft contrast to hard architectural lines. Architects and interior designers will find these useful for adding life to conceptual visualisations or final presentation renders. Search for these by terms such as indoor greenery, decorative houseplant, or potted foliage to quickly populate your project scenes during the final stages of interior design development.
