About this asset

This SketchUp model set features three distinct bonsai trees and a Japanese garden arrangement with stone and water elements. This collection includes three individual bonsai trees, each exhibiting unique trunk curvature and foliage density, alongside a composed Japanese garden scene. The garden element incorporates a stone basin with water, bamboo detailing, and white gravel ground cover, establishing a traditional aesthetic. Each tree showcases detailed bark texture and refined needle or leaf geometry, typical of coniferous or deciduous bonsai styles. The set provides varied silhouettes, from low-spreading forms to upright, windswept configurations, allowing for diverse placement options within a digital landscape or architectural model.

The download is a 40.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate these into a SketchUp project, import the file as a component to maintain file organisation. Use the scale tool to adjust the overall size to match the context of your site plan or interior courtyard. Apply high-resolution textures to the bark and stone surfaces if custom rendering is required. Since these assets contain significant geometry, consider placing them on a dedicated layer or tag to toggle visibility during active modelling to keep viewport performance fluid.

These assets are ideal for enhancing the realism of high-end residential projects, hotel courtyards, or Zen-inspired office lobby designs. They pair effectively with minimalist or contemporary architectural styles, providing natural focal points in interior atriums or exterior terrace visualizations. Professionals searching for oriental landscaping elements, tranquil garden features, or detailed ornamental vegetation will find this set useful for elevating the narrative of a design proposal, particularly when aiming for a serene and contemplative atmosphere in architectural renderings.
