About this asset

This set of three crocodile models for SketchUp provides realistic wildlife entourage for exterior landscape or zoo visualisations. This collection features three distinct crocodile models, varying slightly in size and posture to provide a natural, non-repetitive look within a scene. Each model is textured with a detailed, scaly hide in naturalistic shades of dark green and brown, with open jaws revealing subtle tooth detail. The forms are anatomically representative, capturing the low-slung, reptilian silhouette of the animal. These assets are scaled appropriately for architectural exterior scenes, allowing for versatile placement along water features, riverbanks, or within tropical garden designs to add life and context to the rendered environment.

The download is a 2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are best utilised by importing them as components into your master file. Given their nature as entourage, they can be placed on a dedicated layer or tag to allow for easy toggling during the design process. Use the move and rotate tools to position them naturally along surfaces. If rendering, ensure the material diffuse and bump maps are correctly mapped to maintain the scaly texture definition under varied lighting conditions.

These crocodiles are intended for exterior architectural visualisations, particularly for projects involving tropical landscapes, water-based leisure facilities, or educational zoo designs. They pair well with aquatic foliage, rock features, and water plane materials. Professionals searching for wildlife entourage to populate exterior renderings will find these useful for adding scale and narrative interest to site plans and perspective views. They are ideal for projects in the concept or final presentation stages where environmental detail is required to enhance the overall atmosphere.
