Traditional Red Oriental Fabric and Paper Lantern Set

Traditional Oriental lantern SketchUp models featuring an assortment of red paper fixtures, hanging lanterns, and Asian table lamps. This collection features twelve distinct East Asian decorative lighting models ranging from suspended festival lanterns to freestanding luminaires. The set includes classic spherical and ribbed oval lanterns in vibrant crimson and indigo fabric, accented with gold patterns and bottom tassels. Additional fixtures include stacked paper globes, cylindrical ramen and izakaya style paper lamps with calligraphic brushwork, ornate hexagonal palace pendants with carved frames, and curved birdcage enclosures. Complementary table and pedestal lamps feature carved wooden bases supporting cylindrical and rounded translucent parchment diffusers, providing diverse traditional and Indochine silhouettes.

The download is a 97.5 MB file containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 12 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Geometry is grouped cleanly for fast placement along ceilings, verandas, or interior tabletops. Surfaces feature pre-assigned material IDs for easy conversion in V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion, allowing visualisers to apply two-sided translucent shaders and internal omni lights for warm ambient illumination.

Suitable for themed hospitality, restaurant, and retail interiors, these decorative fixtures populate Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese dining concepts, teahouses, and night market food stalls. Architects and visualisers can incorporate them across hotel lobbies, banquet spaces, outdoor terrace gardens, and event staging schemes. The collection pairs seamlessly with dark timber joinery, bamboo screens, and slate paving, serving queries for mid-autumn festival lighting, Asian pendant luminaires, and decorative paper lamps.
