About this asset

Oriental floor lamp 3ds Max model featuring a dual-stem black metal frame supporting two staggered white lantern shades on curved arms. Constructed with an expressive architectural geometry, the luminaire features a flat square metal base supporting two vertical uprights arranged at staggered elevations. Sweeping upward-curved crossbars cap each upright, echoing classical Asian bracket motifs, finished with subtle light-toned upper trims. Suspended from slender central drop pins beneath each cantilevered curve are translucent rectangular lantern shades with stepped cylindrical lower collars. The dual-tier asymmetrical layout creates an elegant balance, contrasting dark matte metalwork against crisp white diffusers designed to cast soft ambient illumination.

The download is a 2.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Engineered for rapid integration in 3ds Max, this fixture can be dropped directly onto interior floor slabs and oriented beside reading chairs or accent consoles. Assign translucent two-sided or sub-surface scattering materials to the lantern shades to achieve realistic light transmission when pairing with internal photometric point lights. Group hierarchy allows seamless translation across interior design schemes without disturbing coordinate alignment.

Tailored for high-end residential interiors, luxury hotel suites, executive lounges, and boutique hospitality spaces, this fixture complements Japandi, Asian modern, and transitional design vocabularies. It works effectively positioned beside deep lounge armchairs, flanking a credenza, or illuminating tranquil master bedroom reading corners. Specifiers sourcing statement accent lighting, contemporary lantern fixtures, and minimalist Asian floor luminaires will find this asset ready for conceptual schemes and photorealistic interior renderings.
