About this asset

Contemporary luxury crystal chandelier modeled as a SketchUp component, featuring a tiered cascading fringe suspended from a dark round canopy. This decorative luminaire features a dark circular ceiling canopy holding an elaborate, multi-tiered curtain of reflective glass drops or fine metallic chains. The drops stagger vertically around the circumference, creating a sculpted spiral or stepped fringe effect that funnels light through thousands of faceted points. Polished silver highlights dominate the hanging strands, producing sparkling highlights and soft interior diffusion. Its elongated vertical proportion creates a dramatic visual gesture suited to tall volume spaces, balancing the clean architectural base with delicate hanging textures.

The download is a 39.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

The model is supplied as a native SketchUp component ready for immediate insertion into digital interior schemes. Users can position the ceiling base flush against slab soffits or recessed troughs, adjusting the fixture’s overall Z-axis height to suit ceiling clearances. Material channels for the reflective beads and metallic base can be assigned emissive or refractive properties within standard rendering engines like V-Ray for realistic caustics and illumination.

Conceived for high-end residential living rooms, double-height stairwells, and grand hotel lobby receptions, this luminaire serves as a commanding focal point. Interior designers and archviz artists can incorporate it into luxury hospitality suites, dining rooms, and high-fashion retail boutiques. It coordinates seamlessly with contemporary stone surfaces, bookmatched marble walls, and sleek architectural recessed downlights, answering common project queries for cascading crystal chandeliers, spiral pendant lights, and waterfall lighting fixtures.
