About this asset

Contemporary glass and chrome square chandelier 3ds Max model featuring concentric crystal prism tiers suspended from a polished ceiling canopy. Structured around a square polished chrome framework, the luminaire showcases concentric layered bands filled with vertically aligned glass crystal prisms. A matching square ceiling canopy anchors the assembly, connected via a slender central downrod and four diagonal corner support chains for balanced suspension. Inside the open upper grid, four downwards-directed light sockets or decorative bell-shaped fixtures are symmetrically positioned to distribute downward and refracted perimeter illumination. The juxtaposition of crisp metallic rectilinear borders and densely packed clear crystal prisms imparts a refined, opulent visual presence.

The download is a 2.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Designed for 3ds Max interior workflows, the asset imports with geometric components cleanly partitioned for swift scene placement. Assign native refractive materials or glass dispersion shaders to the crystal droppers and a polished metallic shader to the canopy, downrod, and framing. Adjust suspension chain height to match ceiling elevations and place photometric spherical or point lights within the inner sockets for physically accurate illumination and realistic caustic refractions.

Ideally scaled as a statement feature, this square crystal pendant suits luxury dining rooms, high-ceiling foyers, executive hotel suites, and formal living areas. The geometric crystal profile pairs effortlessly with marble dining tables, coffered ceilings, and tailored contemporary furniture. Visualisers often search for modern crystal chandelier, geometric ceiling pendant, luxury dining light, and chrome tiered luminaire when detailing residential, hospitality, or commercial reception scenes.
