About this asset

Contemporary sculptural floor lamp SketchUp model featuring an hourglass gloss-glazed ceramic silhouette topped with a tailored fabric drum shade. Rendered with an expressive, curvaceous profile, the luminaire showcases an elongated vase-style base in a deep plum high-gloss ceramic finish. Its organic waist transitions gracefully from an inverted conical neck into a swollen lower body, capturing crisp specular highlights along its vertical taper. Perched above the slender neck sits a wide cylindrical drum shade wrapped in a woven off-white linen texture, complete with subtle edge piping. A discreet brass finial fastens the shade assembly at the apex, providing an authentic hardware detail that complements the rich reflective glaze below.

The download is a 3.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Optimised for native SketchUp environments, this pre-grouped component imports cleanly into interior elevations and plan layouts without burdening scene geometry. The model features neatly segregated material IDs, allowing quick reassignment of the glossy ceramic reflection maps or fabric opacity in V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion. Place an omnidirectional or interior point light within the shade cavity to cast warm, diffuse ambient illumination across nearby wall planes.

Well-suited for boutique hospitality suites, upscale residential lounges, and executive reception zones, this accent luminaire delivers sculptural scale to unadorned corners. Pair it alongside low-slung bouclé armchairs, minimalist plaster walls, or monolithic stone plinths to create a balanced reading vignette. Architects and visualisers frequently incorporate this piece when specifying decorative lighting fixtures, ceramic statement lamps, and modern hotel bedroom staging.
