Contemporary Black Metal Branching Chandelier

This contemporary black metal chandelier is a 3ds Max model featuring an organic branching structure tipped with warm, angle-cut tubular diffusers. Designed with an asymmetric, nature-inspired silhouette, the fixture spreads radially from a central downrod and compact ceiling canopy. Slender black metal rods branch outward and downward into multi-tiered armatures, creating a complex architectural web. Each terminal arm holds an illuminated cylindrical diffuser sliced at a sharp diagonal angle, revealing an internal light source that emits a soft amber glow. The combination of dark structural lines and glowing warm tubular shades produces a dynamic visual balance, making it a prominent sculptural ceiling element from both underneath and profile perspectives.

The download is a 543 KB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Delivered in native 3ds Max format, this lighting asset imports cleanly into architectural visualisations. The model hierarchy allows quick repositioning or suspension height adjustment by extending the main vertical rod. Mesh components can be linked to separate multi-sub materials or emissive shaders to fine-tune the warmth, intensity, and translucency of the tubular shades. Instancing the model across expansive ceiling plans maintains efficient viewport performance while preserving geometry integrity.

Suited to contemporary residential and commercial hospitality schemes, this multi-arm luminaire anchors double-height living rooms, stairwells, hotel lobbies, and upscale dining areas. It complements minimalist timber millwork, exposed concrete ceilings, and dark architectural hardware. Visualisers specifying branching pendant fixtures, modern architectural chandeliers, or ambient cluster lights can position this feature luminaire over large boardroom tables or restaurant lounge clusters to establish scale, intimacy, and warm focal illumination.
